From Ingolstadt to Barcelona and back to Bundesliga – different flavours of football for the Foals these days. The squad of Manager André Schubert, whose contract has been extended until 2019 this week, mastered the difficult tasks against RB Leipizig (1:1) and Ingolstadt (2:0) well; now, they’re hosting none other than FC Barcelona at Borussia-Park. Truly a highlight for the club’s recent history, no matter the outcome. On Sunday, Schalke 04, with nil points after five Bundesliga matches, hosts Gladbach to matchday six in the League, before the League hits the break as another National squad weekend is scheduled.

Another week of ups and downs, much like we’ve seen a couple of times in 2016 – 1-3 defeat to Freiburg, followed by a 4-1 thrashing of Werder Bremen leaves the Foals on six points after three Bundesliga matches. Manuel talks you through the games as well as the first Champions League encounter of the season, which was an evening to forget (rather two nights, as the match had been cancelled on Tuesday evening) at Etihad Stadium, Borussia losing to Manchester City 4-0, with Kun Aguero scoring a hattrick for the team of manager Pep Guardiola. No time to dwell on the defeats though, as Borussia is facing RB Leipizig in a mid-week fixture, before hosting FC Ingolstadt at Borussia-Park.

Another two disappointing away trips for the Foals, losing to Ingolstadt and soon-to-be-relegated Hannover 96. Manuel talks you through the matches, before moving on to squad news and some info on the annual general meeting, showing that the club is currently prosperous and wealthy like never before.

Another fiesta at Borussia-Park, third-placed Hertha BSC was emphatically beaten 5-0. Both Andre Hahn and Oscar Wendt returned to the starting eleven, with the former Ex-Augsburg player getting himself on the scoresheet. Tony Jantschke also made his comeback after several months of injury – more good news for coach Andre Schubert. Sitting on Fourth now, Borussia will face tough-to-beat Ingolstadt in the next away match. Manuel talks you through both encounters.

The winning streak under André Schubert had come to an end, after the convincing 4-1 away victory at Hertha BSC Berlin the Foals drew to promoted
FC Ingolstadt at Borussia-Park 0-0. Still, good times at the club, back on sixth in the League and an impressive performance in the Champions League
against Juventus (1-1), which eliminates Borussia from the competition, unfortunately, but the race for 3rd spot which secures survival in the Europa League
is still wide open. In the German DFB-Cup, Borussia advanced to the round of last 16 with a 2-0 win at Schalke 04! Manuel talks you through all four encounters.
Thanks for listening and spread the word!
